Staff Carer Conference02.png

We are holding a Staff Carer Conference on Thursday 28th March 2024.  This is a great opportunity to come along and find out all about the support available to you.  Take a look at the programme (at the bottom of this page).  We're really looking forward to the day and would love for you to join us!

Staff Carer Support

There is lots of support for carers nationally, locally, and from within the health and care system.  Because there is so much support and lots of different providers it can seem overwhelming and confusing.   We also know that one thing staff carers are short of is time – so finding the time to search for the right support for you (rather than the person you are caring for), is very often impossible to do.

We want to simplify and streamline this and ensure that the right support for you is easy to find so please take a look below for an overview of support offers for staff carers.

National Support

Support for carers – Lincolnshire County Council

If you click on the first tab (information, advice and support for carers) you’ll find links to national organisations that support carers including a wealth of digital support from Carers UK.  This includes access to a free app Jointly which makes caring easier, less stressful and more organised by making communication and coordination between those who share the care as easy as a text message.  To get access to all of the Carers UK digital resources for carers visit carersdigital.org and sign up using the free access code for Lincolnshire DGTL1946.

Local Support

The Lincolnshire Carer Service

The Lincolnshire Carer Service offers support for all unpaid carers in the County.  Support is tailored to each individual but will start with telephone based information and support from the customer service centre. To request support from the Lincolnshire Carer Service, click on this link.
